after 30 days with the new Nokia 822 I ran into a problem with the charging port on the phone. Its loose and will not accept a charge. According to Verizon and Nokia this is not a "known" defect and they refused to warranty this phone (30 days old)claiming I must have damaged the port. Wrong. Very dissappointing what good is a warranty? Local Verzon store will not exchange phones after 14 days. Fortunately I have loss/damage insurance so that company is sending a new phone after deductible. Not off to a good start with this Nokia phone.
Don't accept that. Push harder at Verizon first, but if that doesn't work, contact Nokia directly, either by their website or through twitter or facebook. Nokia has been VERY responsive to customer issues.
