i have a samsung intensity 2, it will no longer save/add new contacts. i have read the manual, followed the instructions, tried the back up assistant, turned the phone off and on, removed the battery, attempted to delete contacts to make room (even though there is plenty of memory space) and it will not save. very annoying.

Excellent information that you have provided us. I can only imagine how annyong this can be, but help has arrived! You mentioned that you tried the backup assistant. Were you able to backup all existing contacts? When you try to delete or add a contact, do you receive an error message. If so, what exactly does it say?

The existing contacts backed up fine (it took time for them to appear
online though). I added two new contacts via myverizon.com account so they
would be somewhere, the device synced but the new contacts do not appear
on my phone.
when did add them to the phone via the phone, it says "contact saved".
i haven't gotten any error messages at all.

I appreciate all of your efforts so far rdhd1dr. On your Verizon Wireless account, do you have any blocks in place? For example, do you have a data block set up on this line?

I know i can't send or receive text messages with pictures attached, but
that's never mattered in the past. I first noticed this issue in mid-July
btw.
Other than that, i don't have any data blocks that i know of.
