is anyone else having trouble with their speaker/microphone. can't hear when making or getting phone calls. but the other end can hear. if put on speaker, i can hear but the other end cannot. HTC is no help, the Verizon store tried to help but still stuck

can't hear when making or getting phone calls. but the other end can hear. if put on speaker, i can hear but the other end cannot. HTC is no help, the Verizon store tried to help but still stuck with this phone that stopped working properly after 3 months. haven't been able to make a phone call since July or earlier. looking for help with this issue. my last option is to stop paying my bill to force them to help me.
