as soon as i can get in writting what  the dates are for my net  book and  cell phone is  i am  so gone. after  13 yrs of being a  faithful every  two up grader i am done.  advice dont get the pantech hot shot it is a  crappy phone. ive had  4  of them in a  yr and they have eletrical bugs like  crazy.  and are un reilable to keep up  with a  2 yr  service contract, mine was  given to me  per certified  ..  dont do pre certified..  the phones  re fubrishing stinks..  so heres the  reasons i am leaving this comapny . one the excutive  offices dont do squat to help a  disabled  female  .  they cant get me a phone  that is in my budget or  one that is  affordible. 

id love  a smart phone  but theres  30  dollar  contract  fee to switch from basic to smart . then nevada has  a 34  dollar tax  then the data  is  40 bucks and thats  even b4  you can  get  a phone picked that  is  either 79 to hundreds  with a  two yr plan . and the  50 bucks is suppossed to help with all of these  charges.  my  god   i think not. 

i cannot  affor  200 more  and then my  calling  plan. thats  320.00 or  more and its insane and the  free phones are re furbished . i want  a  phone that is 50  dollars with the  money they give me and  a useful way to  pay for one. not have to worry on how much longer  my  hot shot  will last  cause it isnt. its  got non implimented messeages  to me  its  bugs.  and this was  a  replacement  from corporate  for my  casio  g zone ha. not even a suitable one for that.

so some one  get  a hold of me  postall mail with my  end of contract info so i can leave  peace your  hp net  books are  junk  the service is junk it  works  35% of the time. and i am paying 127.00  for what  crap services!!!!!!!!  my  address is  on my  bill...    sutter is the last name look it  up and help me out of   your  company  ... ill stay till the end of the contracts... good luck consumers. and do not  work with  marta   at (personal information deleted to comply with VZW Community Tos).  she is  not helpful at all when trying to help a  customer stay on and  get a  decent  upgrade...  thanks.

adam these fees that  verizon is  enforcing on people is insane. who ever  heard of a 30 dollar contract change.  i used to be  proud of my  verizon wireless association. id  up grade every two  get a  great  deal. and a phone that works the full  two yrs. of course these  phones  were  casio.  and  worth the head ache to try and pay  for. your basic phones are lame. sorry but they are. they need to be  removed from stores.  the hot shot i  got  was to replace the  casio  brigade. that was not a suitable replacement. a casio for a casio is.  this was  a laugh of a phone that made me  cry.   when i tried to  get into a  bettter  phone i was told  i couldnt have one . i couldnt get a smart phone . i wasnt in the class of customer. by a  rep. what the hell. they sent  me a lg envy  that  phone was  scary.   i thought i was  getting a  great  phone in the lg  but  i saw 14 yr old kids with them all over  vegas and was  ashamed.  thats when kevin   lets  call him that stepped in. and he did what he  could  he got me  the hot shot.  i had no idea what i was in  for. and it was alright  . until one   died.  one wouldnt  charge one  had not implmented messages in it  and one  was sent to me  usps un knowingly which i  returned. 

if  there was a  guartantee that the  30 dollar contract  change  was to insure the phones  working  capiblities  for the  full 2 yr contract id  pay it . alas i dont know if any  will.   and to charge some one that  has no idea how in hell shed  pay  for a phone is insane. your so called  free phones arent  free. thats  a lie.  its  state  tax mines 35.00 on top of a  30 dollar  smart phone  contract and lets talk data  40 bucks plus a mth in advance thats  80   thats  145.00 taxed 148 .00    i do not have.  that isnt  free this is     lg  enlighten would interest me  maybe if it was  cleared of the  145.00 and  you  could guarantee that it will make it  a  full  two yrs  .. id consider it . i want  my  rights and my  rebate availble to me even on a  free phone why.. cause  verizon has hurt me so badly im wounded and i dont  trust  you. there was a  time when i  was  able to work  with you  and  get  my  bill issues  resolved  work on paying off a  phone .  and i wouldnt even touch  your  pre paid phones with  desperation.  i have  now waiting  with me over  89 people that i reffered to  you to leave this company with me  who bought the  i phones have the shared data plans.... i am  getting  we wait on what happens to  you  before  we go too.  

i wont  insure  with asurion either.  your insurance  company insulted,  me   i wont go  into that here. lets  say  asurion and i havent  finished  our  dance yet.    and  all i see is  more  fees that make nothing easy on the  customer  instead of take take take and  go on. not one  of your  stores  cares after they  sell a phone.  they move on to the next and the next , no one cares that a fixed income customer of  13  yrs  gets the  shaft.  no one wants to help me  stay on and  continue  my  loyality. a  and no one will  come off the money  train and  go yeah help her out lets  get her a phone shell want and continue on with us.  i cry more than  smile these days  when n i see  verizon stores  commericals  and talk  how to expnad  gigs  and  phone  changes.  feels like i have to  beg and  plead and look like a fool...

this message needs to be  fowarded  to  the  ceo and president ...

help me...

is that too hard to ask.

I read your story one more time. Fantastic!!! It’s laughable and the same time very dramatic. Especially, when you are saying that: “a phone that made me cry” or “they sent me a lg envy that phone was scary”

When I read this: “cause  verizon has hurt me so badly im wounded”, and this “i cry more than  smile these days  when n i see  verizon stores  commericals” , I began to cry.

This isn’t LOL. I recently “upgraded” my old phone, which was more like a downgrade.

3 phones in 3 weeks – none of them were working correctly. My heart goes with you.

So, I beg you, don’t take Samsung Intensity III, because this phone is more scary than LG envy, it will make you cry and your wounds could be reopen.

And please, stop watching Verizon commercials!

hello ... this is suppossed to be the  net work with the caring  customer service. i have been really  tired of seeing the can you hear me now  ...  they dont.  and i am on a  fixed income. these  fees were never in place yrs ago, for some one like me that wants  a smart phone to jump thru these hoops is  crazy.   i was  steamed when i saw the 30 dollar basic to smart phone bad enough that vegas  charges the same in state taxes for  a cell phone.  so im out 60 bucks there. i took the  creepy new share plan because i thought i was saving money. and my  bill went  up 30 bucks more to 120.00 a mth. i have a net  book from this  company and the  gig usage is  for it not my phone.   if there was  proof postitive  that  the phone would work the full  two yr contract id be glad to pay for what i get . not what i dont. and this data plan for a smart  phone isnt 30 its 40 wth. sorry. already im paying 30 bucks for a  4 gig plan. shared  btw by  cell and  net  book .  they  charge me  40 it better  be 2 more gigs on my  data than what i have now. if not why pay this  cost.   i know it was a funny  the way  i went on and on. but also sad that im a 13 yr customer who needs to stay in budget . i need  1 a phone that works and 2 one that isnt  going to make me wanna  scream any more.  the  pantech hot shot is the worst,  dont get one, pantech any thing looks  bad.  i am tired of talking to the  customer service and  the excutive office reps .  no one wants a 13 yr customer to stay then  fine. as  far as the  commericals  go  yeah can  you hear us now the consumer is  entitled to a working  product .   atleast apple  fixed the  bugs in the i phones verizon gives  re furbished ones or  pre owned and calls it  fixed  ha. that was the  lg  envy  btw and the  pantech hot shot  neither are  casio replacements  just  verizon being cheap...  YEAH VERIZON CAN YOU HEAR US NOW YOU ARE CHEAP AND COLD AND REALLY SHAMEFUL.

Angels this is what you do. First I'm sorry you are disabled but we are all on fixed incomes. We all fixin to pay this or fixin to pay that. Why do you need a smartphone and a netbook?if you are worried about fixin to pay your bills, there are government programs out there that can get you a free phone with a free plan of minutes and texts FOR FREE provided you meet requirements. That's the honest to goodness route you should take. Vzw will not give a free iPhone and even the free phones have the 30 upgrade fee and nevada taxes, which both you must pay. Those are the breaks, hon. Gotta pay to play.

I can not afford a plan with texting, so I took a plan with talk minutes only. But I have to pay for somebody else freebees. It’s that right?

well you said t  couldnt be done it was  done, after talking to  people above  customer  service  all i was  stuck with  i got what i wanted a  free  phone ... 

i now have the  galaxy stellar  and it is wondeful with as said  free no extra  charges the  49.07  equiptment  fee was  dropped  as well as the  contract  fee to  change from  basic to smart and  no one mth in  advance  for the  new data.   that was  over  102.00  off my  bill....    when i  got  done  all i paid was my  basic  gig plan for my  net  book and my  cell plan...  and that  was   what i expected ....  my  net book i will be  leaving  here  for other  services and the shared  plan will be a  basic  data in april 2013 ......

so  i did get what i wanted a  free phone...  it can be  done...

The LG Enlighten is currently free with a 2-Year contract so you can get the phone itself for $0.00 if you are currently eligible to upgrade.  There of course will be the $30.00 upgrade fee and the State of Nevada requires Verizon Wireless to calculate sales tax on the full retail price of the devices (I believe) which is $329.99 for the LG Enlighten.  Since I am not a Nevada resident and I am unfamiliar with your sales tax rates I am going to use a estimate of 10% sales tax towards the full retail price of the LG Enlighten making the tax approximately $33.00.  There is nothing Verizon Wireless can do about that sales tax they are required to collect as mandated by your state of residence so you would need to be contacting other channels for your issue with this state policy.  If you currently have a Share Everything plan, having a smartphone on your line instead of a basic phone is only going to be $10.00 more a month.  All these things being true, you could upgrade to the LG Enlighten for $63.00 and only pay $10.00 more a month.  You may even have the option to bill the purchase to your account if you don't have the money right now and you can always provide your payment using a credit card.

You decided to take the cheap deal at the time and it isn't working out like you expected to do with a device Verizon didn't manufacturer or develop. You want Verizon to fit the bill for another manufacturer coming out with a substandard product? You want Verizon to give you special treatment because you are on a income? No carrier will do what you want.

adam unlesss your  mr  meads assistant i will not  negotiate with any one  but that person.  the deal is  i want  a phone that works. and i want  my  respect  back. i am on a  fixed income . i cannot  afford  a new phone. period.  this is what i want and i expect  it  to be forwarded to  mr  meads  assisntand  and mr  meade your  president. 

Apple iPhone 4 - 8 GB in White  iwant the  charges of the 99.99  dropped the contract change of  30 bucks  gone the  promise that  the  data plan  charges of  40dollars removed  and   the state  charges  of  the phone  removed.

if there is no way to do that  then  the same  for the lg enlightned , all extra taxes and  data plan dropped  for the change from  basic to smart. i want that or i am sorry to say  im done.  inntotal i am seeking  a full  free  new phone  from  verizon meaning  free  totaling   180.00 if it is the i phone .  it it is the enlightned  by lg  i want  freee data  free  charges on the contract  change from basic to  smart and  the state of  nevadas  taxes dropped.    that adds up to  free ... so thats  120;00 off my  bill. i am shooting  for the  i phone  mostly. and i do not want  any thing cheap or  non working or  refurbished. free means  free of  all  charges including the mth in advance for the data plan changes im paying 30 now  so  its 10 mote and only  10  more to my  contract for a new smart phone  plus i want the  other  charges  gone  the  contract the state taxes and the data  plan  fixed to 10 dolllars only for  data ... this is why i need  your president . not any one elese cant   do it  they will ior i take my self out of here april 2013

I am very dissatisfied as well. the hotshot phone has been a crap shoot with the two ive had. the first one, my backup assistant would work even after factory resets. My second phone (which i got only 5 days ago): i can not insert a sd card. if i insert the sd card, my phone doesnt start up properly and goes to a screen with a picture of a computer and a phone that says downloading and underneath that in bright green it says usb dump. i have only had this Certified like new replacement (CLNR) for 5 days and it is already giving me heck. Every single phone i have ever had with verizon has some sort of firmware or software or network issue and i am getting tired of always having to get my mom so that she can authorize everything just so i can get it fixed. Its annoying and time consuming and in 7 days i start college and actually need a reliable phone

i am sorry to hear that.  any one that  buys these  phones should be  given a   full yes they are working and  useable.  they charge and  charge and  charge  the  consumer and then the phones  are  failures . ive  never been insulted more with the quality.  and id look up corporate  numbers on  verizon in ny  and  call and  say i need  something i work  for . you have time to return the phone and get a refund i think .  im stuck with it  cause its been more than a mth.
