Any ideas why my data connection would stop? I checked and I have plenty left for the month, but nothing will connect. Could a setting be corrupted? Any ideas what I could check to re-establish my connection?

Lets locate your missing connection! Are you receiving a specific error message? Have you tried powering the device off/on? How many bars of signal strength are appearing on the device?
