I have an LG Octane since last July. I just noticed an oddity regarding photo files taken with the phone's camera. The name of each file has the date and time that the picture was taken, e.g. 0613122134 (06/13/2012 9:34PM). The file info or properties as displayed on the phone also have the correct date and time, e.g. June 13, 2012 21:34.
However the time stamp of the file -- as seen on the computer using Explorer or a browser, etc. -- is 4 hours ahead, e.g. . As I am in the Eastern time zone on daylight savings time, it appears that the file time is always GMT (Greenwich Mean Time). For photos taken in January in Las Vegas, the file time was 6 hours ahead (no DST).
If there is a setting to fix this, I haven't found it.
