I am having a problem changing the password on my mobile email account from my phone, how do I fix ???

thenavydog, great question! We'd be happy to help out. For starters, what model of device are we working with? Is this a personal or corporate email account? Are you just attempting to update the password? Have you attempted to remove the email account and re-add it to the device?

I have a Samsun SCHU680 Convoy devise.
yes I have tried to set up the correct password and get message that it is invalid.
I removed the original account and tried to set up a new account using the same use-rid and password and am not able to do that either
get same message each time

yes it works fine
even tried to add a different email account same problem
It doesn't like me.

I have no problem with accessing my email from my desk top.
In addition I deleted the account and tried to set up a new on the cell phone and I get the same messages.
What is happening with Verizon ????

Thanks for the additional details! What type of email account are you trying to add? (pop, exchange, etc). What software version is your Convoy on? Go to Menu>Settings & Tools>Phone Info>Press SW/HW Version.

Thanks for all the details, thenavydog. You said you tried setting it up on a new cell phone as well. Was that a Convoy too? As you enter the password, can you see the characters the phone is entering? What type (Yahoo, MSN, AOL, etc) of email is it?
