Is it trying to connect with your router and wifi, specifically, or the generic, open xfinity wifi that is now generated by Xfinity routers? If it says "xfinity wifi", it's the open connection, and probably not the one you want to use. I've turned that option OFF on our router.
Look for the name of your router (the one assigned or the one you've given it) and log in with your password. Be sure you are using the secured (padlocked) connection. It may be the phone is set up to not allow open or unsecured connections, or some apps won't allow that, so it's not connecting.

Have you ever been able to connect to your wifi with the phone or any other wireless devices in the past? Does the phone connect with other wifi connections (like at stores or restaurants)?
