So basically if you don't want the expensive z5 4k but still want better screen quality then regular HD then the z4v priced at the same level as the z5 non K is just as good in its own ways.
Higher resolution and screen quality are not the same thing. Most consumers
blindly and stupidly think bigger #'s mean better. I will admit that
Samsung's new screens are quite striking but that is mainly due to the
technology of the display. The screens have class leading contrast,
excellent brightness and have a setting for great color accuracy vs their
normal over saturated colors. None of this is due to the resolution of the
screen. The QHD display in the z4v could be junk with a high pixel count.
The FHD display on the z5 could match up to the s6. I read the difference
between the standard z5 and 4k z5 premium it is hard to tell the difference
unless you look very closely. And that's comparing 4k to FHD...
Don't get me wrong though, I'm not against QHD (I am against 4k in devices
under 6" probably under 10" honestly). I have a QHD tablet and its nice.
But really with the batteries and soc's out there (especially the
problematic 810), higher resolution screens give a worse user experience
overall. The reason the z4v isn't out is probably because they can't
control the heat of the 810 pushing QHD when Sony was having a problem with
heat pushing FHD. Hopefully the next generation of soc's will have better
thermal management, power to push QHD displays without slowdown, and have
better efficiency.

Well your site has said that the Sony Xperia z4v is coming for the past few months so either tell us it's cancelled or release the damn phone before I leave you guys for someone else. Get with it!
Is anyone else hoping Verizon will offer the Xperia Z5? The phone seems truly cutting edge and, unlike Samsung and Apple, it still offers expandable memory and an much bigger battery to complement its industry-leading camera. I'm hoping so. I want the z5. I've been due for an upgrade for a while but
Verizon doesn't offer the same phones as other carriers or gets them late.
They're making me mad. Love a z5 not another Sony one off like the flop
that was the z3v.
