Why can't I get NFL Mobile on my iPad Mini?

I have an iPad mini 2 from Verizon that is attached to my data plan.  Why can I not stream games to it via NFL Mobile?

Because it's only available on phones.  I, too, would love to watch the game on my tablet, but I can only see it on the phone.

SuzyQ is exactly right.  The agreement with the NFL is that Verizon can only stream the games to phones. Tablets and any other device is excluded. You also cannot hook your phone up to a TV to stream, it will prevent you from showing it on the bigger screen. DirectTV owns the rights to stream to tablets and laptops and computers with their Sunday Ticket product.
