Can't receive verification code

Just switched from AT&T to Verizon.  The first night I did the majority of my accounts and got my verification codes just fine.  The next day (and since then) they quit coming in. This is on a new iPhone 11 Max Pro. My wife got iPhone XS and is having the same issue.  All the threads I've read on this issue and it seems to be a common, ongoing problem, but every Verizon reply I read asked the user a different question.  Seem that with as many people are having the problem, the solution would be known and Verizon could just tell us what we need to do.  With that being said, what do I do to resolve this problem?
