I’ve had multiple power outages this year and neither my iPhone 11 Pro Max or my wife’s iPhone X will work during the outage. My neighbors with AT&T all have useable cell phones during this time. The Verizon fix was to send me a signal booster that will also be off during a power outage. I have to drive to the next town for my phone to work. Anyone know a fix to have a working cell phone when I need it most?
I have a 4G phone and another person in the house has a 3G phone. During a power outage the 3G phone DOES have service but the 4G phone DOES NOT. This has been a consistent problem. Verizon tells us the 3G service ends this year. So I guess after that, if there is a power outage the following will happen: 1) we won't be able to call the electric company to report the outage, 2) We won't be able to call 911 if there is an emergency. This is unacceptable. The only we even have cell phones is for emergencies.
