I have an old business number still with RingCentral which simply forwards to my verizon iPhone 11. I wonder if I use the eSim service and port it to my Verizon account so that it becomes a second number on my iPhone what the implications will be.

1) Does it simply piggyback and call to it will behave exactly the same as calls to the primary number?

2) Does it inherit any/all blocking, forwarding, DND, text receiving, etc? If not, where does it diverge and under what circumstances based on your real life experiences?

3) I forward all busy/do not answer to my Google Voice. Will this the same for both numbers?

I realize some of my questions are redundant. I just don't know what I don't know so I don't neces
