iPhone BOGO promotions not loyal to customers of 20 years. Verizon doesn't understand it's own credit card.

Got the notification of the sale on iPhone 11 pros with the bogo offer (Buy one get one on us). Turns out this is only for new lines. I've been with Verizon for almost 20 years. I have three lines. One for my wife and grandmother. All of these are unlimited data. If I wanted to lose one of our numbers, I guess I could take advantage and add a line, then cancel an old one, but why even do this? Why do these companies always discourage loyal customers from staying loyal? They want to get new customers, but don't bother to take care of the customers they have. If there is a bogo deal for one category of customers, it should carry over to the rest. If they want to drive customers to competitors to take advantage of anti-consumer deals, then I guess that's what I need to do. The other issue I have is I contacted Verizon to make sure the Verizon Visa card was working for the auto-payment discount and the service rep said it's only for debit / ACH payments. Well, right on the application page it says $10 per line discount for the card. These people aren't trained very well or are third party reps. You would think they would understand the companies own credit card perks. Also, there's no auto payment for the Verizon card in the synchrony setup, which is archaic.

Pretty disappointed with this company. When deals start hitting with competitors, I guess it's time to take them seriously.

What's with this entitled attitude? All a carrier owes someone is service and if the service is bad, we switch.

BOGO deals are aimed for people who need the new line. Kid's first phone, moving spouse from another carrier to join etc. These promos don't exist to cheat the system.
