Traded in my iPhone X for $800 credit as nationally advertised. Credit was not applied after months. Called numerous times and finally got the agent on the phone agree to apply the credit. However, just got an email from Verizon saying the trade in value is adjusted to "$100" beccuase "The device didn't meet all the requirements of the original trade-in estimate, so the actual trade-in value had to be adjusted." No "requirements" were communicated to me. I upgraded the device and signed up for a more expensive data plan all based on the assumption of $800 credit trade in. Very disappointed and not acceptable for a reputable company like Verizon.
