Verizon is running early black Friday promotion, however, the trade-in is due back before Christmas. Makes no sense to run a promotion designed to sell Christmas gifts and require the current device to be returned before the gift is given. Should extend to at least 35-45 days for promotions designed for the holidays. Verizon rep on chat indicated no flexibility, thus I did not purchase. Has others received the same feedback from Verizon?
Dont see what the issue is, if you trade in your phone and you get a new one? The issue I have is when Verizon says the phone is backordered for about a month?
If you buy a Christmas present, how are you suppose to send the current phone back before Christmas if the person with the current phone does not know they are getting it. Also, means they would be without a phone at all until Christmas unless I give them the new phone early. Not willing to do that and them have nothing on Christmas morning.
