2 iPhones, 1 iTunes account

We just added a second iPhone to our plan.  We have one iTunes account on our home computer.  Now every time I download an app or my son downloads an app, it shows up on both of our phones.  Is there a way to change this?

Separate itunes accounts, maybe?

We tried but weren't able to set up a separate iTunes account...any ideas how to do that?

Sorry, no.  I avoid dealing with itunes as much as possible.

Each phone can use the same id on the phone. You can download apps on the phone and theres a setting in General settings then iTunes to not go to every device.

You need to do a factory reset on your sons phone then have him make his own account.

Now in iTunes log out of your account and log on into his. Then authorize his computer for his account.

There is a box in iTunes when you click on your phone in the apps tab that says automatically install new apps or something if you uncheck that and disable everything in iCloud except find my iPhone that should correct your problem . I have three iPhones with one Id and we do not have this problem
