I am not sure if Verizon would let me have an early upgrade. I do have the insurance on my phone, but I don't want to spend $200 for the replacement and then another $200 in a month on the 4S. This is all way too much to deal with at one tim
am not sure if there is any possibility of getting an early 4S Upgrade. My upgrade date is 12/29/2011.
I was talking to a family member about another sick family member over the phone and lost control of the phone.
It fell into a cup of water. I am currently suffering from serious depression, and the Iphone has heen my lifeline.
I was hoping to use it to document what will likely be the last holiday season with my grandmother's.
My mother's mom has Alzheimer's and is in a nursing home. She is likely not to make it much longer.
My other grandmother just had a serious fall and had to go into a nursing home-she is never going to walk again.
I am ready to have a breakdown on top of that my phone is damaged-home button won't work.
I relied on the phone so much I feel like a piece of me is missing.

You may get lucky with an early upgrade but the truth is you might just have to pay the deductible for the replacement and then you can sell it to get your 4S if having the iPhone right now is important to you.

I am sorry to hear what you are going through, and I wish you the best. My new in two date was in February 2012, but Verizon only charged me $25 early termination fee with a new 2 year contract. It definitely doesn't hurt to try, and good luck!

I'm sorry to hear about your situation, I wish you the best of luck.
As for your issue with the iPhone, I don't think Verizon will allow you to upgrade early, they are now under strict rules to not change upgrade dates (according to a rep I spoke to in store). However seeing as you are so close, maybe just pay the cancellation fee, it sounds like it would be around $50 (19 months into your contract) or so, I know it's extra but it may be worth it and can at least make this 1 headache go away.
