Anybody regret switching from a droid x to a iphone

I have a droid x and my upgrade is soon. I am considering switching to an iphone. Would this be a good choice or more of a personal choice?

Switched from a Droid X and never looking back, Droid was nice but always seemed a ittle buggy. Iphone is smooth as silk, plays nice with my Macbook and there are apps for everything (and hopefully without virus's).

Depends on what you want to do with your device really..at this point it might be worth holding out for 3-4 months and see if the Iphone 5 drops this summer

It'll drop, but it won't be for Verizon if it does come out.  Next year is when you are looking.

As for Droid X and regretting the switch...  Personally the iPhone has better battery life than ANY Android device I have owned.  It averages 3-4 hours longer on a heavy usage day and nearly 80% longer on those light usage days(8am-10pm).  There have been days where nothing goes on and by the time I come home I still have 80%+ battery life.  I'd be lucky to be at 40% with any of my Androids.  That's the only reason why I made the switch.

I love how fast iPhone charges.. Like almost a percent a min or something like that.. But it's fast.. And lasts all day.. Love it.

How do you know they will not get the iphone 5,a lot of people think his is one of the reasons why thet are dropping unlimited data plans,so unlless you have solid proof either way i wouldnot be so sure of this statment or any other.

Just look at the release dates of all the iPhones across the world.  It's always 11-13 months from the date they released the previous version in that country.  Verizon just joined the list.  Also Apple isn't stupid enough to spend R&D money just to redo the 4 for Verizon then 3 months later roll out with another version.  They'd lose money.

They'd make money, people would ditch their i4's left and right to get a new i5.

I am glad you asked this question trucougar. I have a Droid X and I was wondering the same thing.

My nephew has a Droid X, and I've compared both phones back to back I much prefer the iPhone to the droid x, I don't know if it's worth $200 to switch though. It's a nice phone, but the Droid can essentially do the same things the iPhone does, just with worse battery life, and a larger screen. Hope that helps some.
