Can anyone tell me how to change my apple id on my phone? I changed it online at itunes, but do not know how to change it on the phone.
In settings go to "store" and click on "Apple ID:xxx" at the bottom of the screen. Choose "sign out" and then sign back in with your new Apple ID.
I'm not sure but I believe any aps or media purchaced through a different I'd may become unusable once you associate the phone with a different one
Not true...at least not in my experience. My mother has her own Apple ID now but originally she used mine since she basically had me do everything for her (as far as syncing and backing up). She still is able to use the apps that are associated with my Apple ID...when an update is available she has to use my password to allow the update but otherwise her phone is attached to a different Apple ID. Unless I am misunderstanding what you are referring to...
