I'm getting harassing texts and calls from one number. I went into my Verizon and added them to the blocked list, but I am still receiving texts from this person's number.
Why isn't the blocking feature not working?
You posted this in the iPhone space, can I assume you have this model of phone? Could this person also have an iPhone or an Apple device? Are you using iMessage? You might want to look into the iMessage settings on your phone to restrict the iMessages to only go through your phone number and not your AppleID.

Yes, I have an iPhone 4S. I've turned off the iMessage. Hopefully this will help. Shame though, no one else will be able to iMessage me. Is there anyway to block them without doing that?
I'm guessing they have an iPhone too, when I tried messaging them back to stop, it came up as an iMessage in blue, not a regular message in green.
