Is your cellular data connection active (3G)?

Im having the same issue you are, regardless if I have the Data connection active or not it seems to turn itself off quite often. It's odd. I honestly think it's something to do with this new 5.1 Update, because my other I phone 4 isnt having this problem and I never updated the software from 5.0 (Or Won't at this point)
