i notice when im on the phone talking to someone and they said they sent me a picture, i dont get it right away. Only way i get it if i hang up on them and call them back (unless they have iMessage of course i get it right away) but i was wonder if this is normal or settings on my phone i have to turn on?
The phone is working as designed. The CDMA network used by Verizon Wireless doesn't have the option to transmit voice and data at the same time.

NyNative22, I can understand that the need may arise to receive a picture while on a phone call. Receiving a picture involves using our data network. Our 3G network does not support sending voice and data at the same time. Most of our 4G devices (except the iPhone 5) support voice and data simultaneously over 4G.
