I just picked up an IPhone 4s after losing my old phone in the bay. Verizon customer service at the store said there is a VZ contnact updater in the ITunes part of phone and I don't see it. Is there another known way of backing up my contacts on a lost non-smart phone, to the IPhone 4s?

If you were using vzw backup assistant on your old phone you can download the vzw contact transfer app from the iTunes app store and get your contacts that way

Hi dcarrie1007,

The application on the iPhone 4S is called VZ Contact Transfer in the App Store. It's free for the first 30 days and will transfer contacts from Backup Assistant with an old phone. Let me know if this gets your contacts over.
