I am planning on a long trip and will not have wifi access most of the time. I understand I can tether the iPhone for access. Has anyone had good luck with doing this?
Yes, great luck! The process is simple but should be used for short spouts of time. It is great for basic internet use but not at all for entertainment as it is very tough on the battery of the phone. Look into the Jetpack for extended tethering use and entertainment options while traveling and keep your phone free to make and receive calls.
