You need to unlock the phone before you terminate your contract. Plus you have to satisfy the other conditions Verizon requires for customers to qualify for the SIM unlock.

Fair enough. Any idea, then, what would need to be done to qualify for my SIM to be unlocked, prior to terminating my contract? Are the "other conditions" Verizon requires posted somewhere that I could view perhaps? Or might you know?
