I found an iPhone4 last September 2013, and was able to get in touch with the owner.
I sent it insured tracking, and it came back to me Return to Sender 2 weeks later. The owner never called back. He was moving from 1 town, to another, and none of them are near me.
I opened it last week, had to buy a charger ($19 more, on top of $7 for shipping before), and tried to put it on my own account. It's still on the lost or stolen phones list.
When it charged, I 'reset', instead of 'reopened', looking for the contact info again.
I can't buy it from him, or re-send AGAIN, without any help from Verizon.
They say even with the device ID, or his name (that I know), they can't contact him.
Why won't Verizon tell him to call me again?
