HUGE PROBLEM

My iphone 4 recently stopped getting a signal. It's said "searching.." for almost 2 days now. I've turned it on and off, ive reset the settings, and ive checked to make sure the IOS was up to date. It's still not working and the area I'm in always has service. I'm extremely frustrated and dissapointed

That does indeed sound like a serious issue! Have you dialed *228 and selected option #1? What zip code are you in? Please share some details with us, thanks!

did you just update ?I cant get my email, same thing basically happened and it keeps saying cannot get mail, connection to server failed. this has been 3 days and started after I updated.what gives ?

Just updated a few minutes ago ( by entering *228) but no success.  It says "Cannot Get Mail", (The connection to the server failed.)

mine has been doing that too!
