I've already turned it off, tried to reset it and to power down but even that gets stuck...how do I fix this?

tap the screen twice in rapid succession using THREE of your fingers. really, it's not a joke. it works to enlarge or reset the screen. Saying "there's no place like home" and wearing ruby slippers is totally optional.
