Hi, my friend is getting an upgrade on his phone and he is giving me his used Sprint IPhone 4, since I broke mine. Will I be able to use his Iphone and will I be able to transfer it over to the Verizon Network and be able to get my number?

No. Verizon and Sprint although CDMA carriers use different frequencies
