I want to place a mobile hotspot on my new Iphone 4.  How can I do that?  I use it at home and on vacations to hook my laptop up to it.

Is your data plan the unlimited data plan or a tiered data plan?

You can sign into your MyVerizon account and add the hotspot through the change your features option if you have an unlimited data plan.

If you are on a tiered data plan, change it to one of the data plans that includes the mobile hotspot.

It should be unlimited data plan.

U have 2 add hotspot feature by calling *611 . U get 2gig for $20.

I used the 3G smartphone HTC Rhyme for the example in the upgrade process, but the hotspot adder for a 3G unlimited data plan is $20 for 2 GB.
