How can I sell my 4S to an AT&T user?

I purchased a new phone and switch carriers to T-Mobil "for now" as I was unable to get Verizon to negotiate. Not a big deal, however I want to sell my IPhone 4S to an AT&T user so I went to the local Verizon store and they said that the phone could not be unlocked. I understand their reasons to keep me as a user, but I have already switched.

How can I convert or unlock this phone?

Thank you.

You have to have an active verizon account older than 30 days for them to unlock a phone.

Here are the requirements for Verizon to unlock the device for you.  Since it does not appear that you meet those requirements, you will need to attempt to contact a third party unlocking service and see if you can purchase an unlock code.

Meet the following requirements:

* Must be a Verizon Wireless customer.

* The iPhone 4S being unlocked must be active on a Verizon Wireless line of service.

* The line of service must be active at least 60 days.

* The line of service must be in good standing for the past 60 days.

* Only one SIM Unlock per line every 10 months.

AT&T and Verizon use different technologies on their respective cellular networks.  Verizon phones will not work on AT&T's network and vice versa, no matter how much "unlocking" is done.  The hardware inside the phones make it impossible to use a Verizon iPhone4S on the AT&T network.
