How do I block texts from short codes?

I keep receiving texts from #s like  944-08.

How do I block them?

You can text it back if it isent vzw and say stop. Or do a full text block by calling *611.

When I ran into this issue, they placed a "Premium Text Block" on my lines of service so that I would not be charged. Just call customer care at *611.
