I downloaded my contacts (BA) as CVS file. Outlook locates the file and then "a file error occured in the translator while initializing the translator to build a field map"
Hay Verizon, this page is broken also!!!!
Import the contacts to Outlook Express - it can recognize & translate the csv file. From there, you can choose to export from Outlook Express to Outlook.
I documented a procedure to make the Backup Assistant -> export .CSV -> import to Outlook 2007 to work. Please see this link: https://community.verizonwireless.com/message/834388#834388
