My HP computer does not recognize my iphone.  Do I need to download the iphone driver?

Greg2063 we'll walk you through the steps and make sure everything is clear! There are not any specific drivers for the iPhone, however it is recommended that you download iTunes http://bit.ly/Xfj4gE to manage the device.
