I recently dropped my phone in a cup of water (I did the rice thing) but I'm pretty sure it's done for considering it had been dropped numerous times and is cracked on both sides. Well, I bought a phone off a friend and while I was trying to activate it with Verizon online.. I got to the "We're sending you an authorization code via text" part and I cannot look at my text messages because my phone isn't working. So, what do I need to do?
Well with phone not working and being bought off a friend which means no Warranty, your best thing to do now is to find one off the Internet there are a few places that have used phones at prices reduced from what a new one would cost or if you can afford a new one go that direction, Since it sounds like you have an account I would take the phone you that you find, possibly the internet and go to a Corporate store and see if they can put it on your account, you may need to bring the old phone with you so they can make the transfer happen..
