How do I order / Purchase a new micro sim card?

I currently have an iPhone 4S device that I purchased through AT&T. I cancelled my AT&T account and bought-out my contract left on the phone. I contacted them to unlock the phone and completed the unlock process. I already had an existing Verizon account with a Blackberry and want to switch to the iPhone 4S now that it is unlocked. At this point I believe I just need a micro sim card but after speaking with Verizon wireless (local store) they said I have to buy a new phone with a micro sim card but I do not believe that is correct.

What is the easiest way to buy a new micro sim card that would be tied to my phone number?

you can't activate an at&t iphone on verizon. they use entirely different radios. it has nothing to do with the sim.

An iphone from AT&T won't work on the Verizon Wireless's CDMA network.  The needed CDMA radio isn't active or even configured on the AT&T version.

I assume you don't want to buy one with a 2yr contract it might be safer since who knows what would happen after you buy one on eBay. It might be bad.

Atat is gsm Verizon is CDMA.
