Does anyone know how to purchase extra data? I cannot find it anywhere in "My Verizon" account and do not feel like sitting on hold for half an hour to call customer "service".

After researching this....it is apparent that you can ONLY change your
monthly data plan. You cannot add any extra data to your existing plan, but
will be charged for going over your current plan by $15 per GB.

Log into your on-line MyVerizon account, look under Manage My Account on the left side of the page, and click the blue Change Minutes/Text/Data button.

The only thing this screen allows you to do is change your data monthly
plan, I can find no where on it, that you can add data for the current
month?

When you go through the screens you'll have the option to either change the data package effective the start of the next billing cycle or to backdate it ... you'll want to backdate it so that the increase in data is effective from the start of the current billing cycle (otherwise you'll run into pro-ration and more than likely, overages). If you run into issues, you can call Customer Service and have them do it for you.

Turns out the Verizon sales associates and the location manager, fed me a
load of [removal required by the Verizon Wireless Terms of Service] by telling me you could purchase extra data without
upgrading your monthly plan. There were several points on the plans that
none of the associates knew. Yet another example of extremely poor customer
service.
