Thank you all for your suggestions. I appreciate your help.
@Rechel,
I’ve deleted text message by mistake so I definitely feel your pain. Unfortunately, once a text message is deleted from your phone you are unable to recover it unless, like mdram4x4 said, the sender resends the text. Why do you need to retrieve this deleted text message? If you need it for legal purposes there may be a way to retrieve it.
Verizon Wireless is only able to provide an average of the last 3-5 days of content, but never more than ten days (240 hours) from the date and time the message is delivered. Content can only be released with consent from the addressee or intended recipient of the SMS (text) messages. The addressee or intended recipient of the message(s) must submit their consent, have it notarized, and submitted by an attorney or law enforcement. All requests for release of SMS content should be referred to our Law Enforcement Resource Team (LERT) at 800-451-5242, prompt 3. Verizon Wireless has a charge of $50 per five-day increment, with a minimum of $50 for each request.
Hope this information is helpful.
