Is it possible to install apps that are on my iPhone4 onto my wifes iPhone4s  ?

If you have the same apple Id you can have it auto put them on hers by wifi or iTunes. If not she can always change her Id to yours or you can download to computer and it can be used by both without same code I thInk

Actually its simple and the device name shouldnt need to be changed, all you have to do is log into your itunes app store with the same one used on the first device..  I have the same apps on my iPhone as I do on my iPhone Touch and this is all I did to download them...

I don't have her phone yet, be  here next week. So, if I understand it, all I have to do when I get her phone is plug it into my computer and start iTunes, activate her phone using my iPhone ID, password and email address and it should work, is that correct ?

MAKE SURE TO SETUP ITUNES TO MANUAL MANAGE ACCOUNTS.....   Yes once the device is activated and setup you should still see the apps that you purchase for the first device and if you drag the apps to her device those apps should install without issues and when she wants to download from the market the itune account information should be the same as yours unless for some reason apple change their securiyt settings again..

I always set itunes to allow me to manage my apps instead of sync everything to avoid information from of phone to sync to the other users device.

Another thing to remember is that when the apps updates on her device it will ask for your account information before allowing the update, just a heads up..

Yes it is, but in order to re-download Paid Apps for Free you need to make sure both your IPhone and your wife's IPhone are signed into the same Apple ID Account, and then you need to Activate ICloud (which is free) on both Devices. With ICloud enabled, you can re-download all of your previously Paid Apps, Music, TV Shows (Will Need A WIFI Connection due to the 50 MB 3G Download Limit), Movies (WIFI Needed here as well) and books, for free on any IPhone, IPad, or IPod Touch (Sorry for getting a little Off Topic Here), directly from the Device with out having to use ITunes on your Computer to copy over the Apps, TV Shows, Movies, and Books.
