Logging onto FaceBook for the first time

I am new to the iPhone.  I just installed the FaceBook app.  When I log onto Facebook via iPhone I am told to check email on my PC due to a potential unauthorized access to my FB account.  When I check my email and log onto FB on my PC it tells me that access was attempted from CA locations (Sacramento and Santa Clara).  I am in Jacksonville FL.  Do I need to be concerned?  This has happened two times.

Change your Facebook password it is just a coincidence that you just got the iPhone app , your account is compromised if yOu check with peoPle on your list you probably have been sending out odd requests
