Lost internet connection overnite

Charged phone overnite and when unplugged from charger, no internet connection.  Never touched any settings.  How do I re-establish internet & email connection in settings?

Enable/disable mobile data on your Apple iPhone 4
  1. From the home screen, tap the Settings icon.
  2. Tap General.
  3. Tap Cellular.
  4. Next to Cellular Data, tap the toggle switch to enable or disable mobile data.
