My text message screen is stuck on horizontal, how do i switch it back to vertical?

double click home buttom..scroll left and click unlock button

Uhh except that you can't remove an iPhone battery without dismantling the entire device.

But yeah just turn it completely off (not standby) then turn it back on.

I just got my iPhone open and removed to what I believe is the battery. I put it back into the place that it was previous in and put my iPhone back together. Now, it won't turn on? Any ideas?

You actually have the special tool used to removed the millimeter screws in the Iphone that are only exclusively sold to Apple? If you don't and you was still able to remove the battery, You just broke it and the warranty.

Yeah I'm pretty sure if you managed to actually get the battery out of the iPhone, you ruined it. And I can't believe a Verizon employee actually told someone to try to take a battery out of an iPhone.

Please tell me you got mixed up and thought he was talking about another device.  Otherwise, any credibility that came with the _VZW user name just went out the window.

An Verizon employ suggeted to someone to do this, thus I did it. I mean, their the best people to listen to? After all they sell this phone. What can I do now? Ask him how to put it together?
