Message failure

I have a iPhone 4. I cannot send text messages to two or more people. The message fails and I get the message of mms failure. I have Fios and unlimited texting plus the recipients are vizon customers. I am only send texts not pictures or images. Any suggestions?

You should be able to send texts to multiple recipients.

A quick google search tells me that multiple recipient sms texts are sent as a mms text (multimedia; pictures / video). Do you have media messaging locked down on your account?

Check your settings to make sure you don't have MMS messaging turned off. You don't have to have group messaging turned on to send to more than one person (I don't have it turned on and I send group messages sometimes)...but if you want it on you can turn it on. Just be aware that with it on when you receive a group message if you respond to it your response will go to everyone that received the original message...not always something you want to happen lol.
