My Verizon app sign in everytime

Does everyone see this that the my Verizon app is more like your going on to the website since you have to sign in everytime even if you press the home key and come back in while it's still in the running apps list. I thought and it always has been easy your in and out now it's becoming more like the 4g phones. I didn't even update the app. Are they preparing for it to be an iPhone 4g world. They put the security in for the 4g because they had a sim and it was a software update that did in in July 2011.

I under stand security but I loved the consent of the quickness and easyness for a person that might not wanna type in the password. But now any person can use there passcode on your phone to check there Verizon mins. Its ok but i know some people don't use there code or they don't remember everything. It's better then only allowing on code per phone like 4g phones. They made it different then they did for other phones they did this too.

Has anyone had this happen without telling you. They told me after saying its not normal that it is starting this week and its to have us be more safe with all the phone thefts. There doing it to be nice to us.

They should have said something don't you think?

Have someone else confirmed this?

I have it turned off but thank you for answering. I have reset network settings powered off and on deleted everything. I have the newest version. It off and on does it without passcode . Yesterday it started for 6hrs it was doing this then went back to normal for a few then went back to being wrong.

I don't have to sign in all the time when connected to 3G on my IPhone 4, have to wait and see if I have this problem or not tomorrow after I get my brand new IPhone 4S. I did have the problem about a week ago right after I downgraded from a 700 Minute Family Share Plan to an Unlimited Nationwide Talk and Text Plan but the problem has gone away now. Just FYI.
