At first it was shutting down apps while I was in them so I tried a soft reboot. That didn't work,so I decided to reset it. I have everything backed up with verizon and icloud so wasn't that concerned with losing my information. Now it will not even restore properly. It turns on, goes through the first few screens, get to the restore screen options screen and then shuts down only to have to start all over. Anyone else had this problem. I have connected it to itunes and that doesn't work either. Totally frustrated and probably visiting a verizon store some time tomorrow if no one can help!

Go plug it into iTunes then do a restore.
Thank you! I tried that and it didn't work either. Ended up taking it to Verizon store and they were able to restore. Then it updated to iOS 6. Thanks for your suggestion tho.
