I was lucky enough to get tech support for the second day in a row. They still have no idea when the iPhone 4 activation glitch or 4G will be up and running.
Tech support said some activations have been successful,l if you can connect to Itunes and it recognizes the iPhone device. Mine recognized the new iPhone on Itunes but would not communicate,and I was still not able to activate the phone. I will be getting a courtesy call at around 10:00 to let me know when they expect the issue to be resolved. The guy I was talking to at tech support said he still had no 4G on his personal phone, a Droid.
If I get a call back with any answers,I will post the details. This is getting old now! 
I am in NJ, and 4G is still out too!
