No log out button on my verizon app

Hi, I recently purchased iphone 4s and downloaded "my verizon mobile" app.

I have been using it without any problems, however - there is no specific "log out" button on the app.

I have looked under all the menus and even talked to the tech. support agent - but the answer was to re-download the app itself.

Therefore, turning off the phone is the only way to log me out of the app as of the moment and it seems like it's a very common problem among other iphone 4s users as well.

So, I just ended up deleting the app cause there is no point of using it.

There is no log out of the app. The whole point is to be fast easy access into it. Some phones do have a pass code like the thunderbolt but it isent common. The use of it is to be able to get your min data make a payment ect. It's quicker then signing into the website every time.

When I exit My Verizon app on my iPhone, I close the app using the app switcher (double click home button, long select app until '-' sign shows, delete from app switcher by selecting the '-' sign) and when I open next time I need to login again.  Try this, hopefully it is what you are looking for.

To my understanding none of phones for my Verizon need a login except the thunderbolt. Spiral do you need that other app to have to log in everytime or does your phone do it on its own but your recommending it just in case you have a phone that doesent log out everytime.

The ogposter can do #bal #min #data if there's no other working way appeases.

Gina, with the iPhone app, I have to login IF I have previously closed out the application (see below).  My assumption is that closing out of the app is the equivalent of logging out (similar to on my PC).  If I do not manually close the application, it retains the login.

I am guessing the OP is concerned about having their login 'open' at all times and wants a method to confirm they are 'logged out'.  I contend that closing the app meets that objective just like it does on my PC.

That's only on wifi you don't need to log in if you are on 3G
