I live in Northeastern Pa & have not had internet service since last evening.  I spoke with technical support from Verizon & Apple & no one has been able to fix my issue. I have full bars with my 3G signal.  No service using safari or apps.  Anyone else having the same issue?

Alot of people on the iphone4 topic has the same thing. As well as iMessage problems. Some In PA. It's weird how we have good signals but safari etc not recieveing the good signal. Mine say server unavailable or cannot connect with good signal. I don't know. Nobody knows anything.

This is happening to me as well.  Full bars and calls are working, but the phone is not connecting to the internet and I'm not receiving email.  I'm in southern NJ, by Philadelphia.

Same. I can't get online with any of my apps, nor can I iMessage people. I can send text messages just fine, but I guess anything that requires data...

I'm in NE PA and have not had 3G access since yesterday morning.  Same problem, full bars, no access.  I get phone calls, and WIFI works fine but no Internet via 3G.  How can no one know anything about how to solve this?

Well after spending and HOUR on the phone between Verizon & Apple, my  boyfriend fixed it.  This is what he did.  Went into Settings- General- Network , and then HOTSPOT. He said the hotspot wasnt set up.  I dont the specifics on what he did, but once I do I will post them

Ok, I went in to Settings - General - Network, and the problem seemed to be immediately fixed EVEN WITHOUT DOING ANYTHING.  Are we sure that Verizon didn't just finally fix the problem and the settings were a coincidence?  Even if I did something without realizing it, it is hard to imagine so many people having the same problem for several days that is so easy to fix that I wouldn't even know what I did.

Whatever.  I'm grateful for now.

I am in NEPA also and had the same problem. I called verizon tech support this morning, and they had me go into settings - general - network. Turn off cellular data and then turn it right back on. The woman I spoke to told me there has been an outage, but that sometimes it needs to be reset and doing this in the settings will reset it. It worked for me!
