Renewing contract

My upgrade/renewl is due in sept.,and it's the NE2 which it doesn't exist but, how much time do they give us to use our upgrade??

You must have upgraded the last time before the Jan 16, 2011 cut-off date to have a NE2 discount available on the primary line. You have six monthes to use it from your upgrade date before the discount expires. Also you should be aware that if you purchase a new phone under the a new two-year contract you will lose the unlimited data plan if you have it on the line you want to upgrade. You will have to select from the tiered data plan introduced summer 2011. The rest of your plan doesn't change.

I couldn't use my NE2 til next month, that's when my 2 yr. contract is over.

You said that you can upgrade/renew in Sept. You become eligible to upgrade at the 20th month of your two year contract. Exactly when did you last upgrade your line?

I have a new every 2 and I have had it available more then 6 months. It still is available but I don't want to lose my data plan so I am waiting. Who gave you the info that you would lose the new every 2 if you dont use it before 6months are up? Upgrades don't expire either.

I believe it was one of the VZW employees that roam this community gave the six month expiration date. This was posted when the NE2 program was retired.

What is New Every Two®?

New Every Two was a marketing program available to customers who signed up for a two-year plan of at least $34.99 per month. Enrolled customers were eligible for a $30 or $50 credit toward a new phone depending on their monthly access tier.

New lines of service will no longer be enrolled in the New Every Two program. If you are currently enrolled, you may redeem your New Every Two benefit one more time for up to six months after fulfilling 20 months of your two-year term.

A $30 upgrade fee applies whenever you purchase a new device at a discount, with a contract extension, to replace an old device. This fee is in addition to the cost of the new device. It does not apply when a new device is purchased at the full retail price.
